Luke Jun 30 : 10:30 Looking at the time of the Elmont double shooting and the weather last night, my guess is that they couldn't fly because of the threat of bad weather. Visibility was poor during the day yesterday and the upper levels see worse visibility. That would be my first guess as to why aviation was not used. Generally, they would fly to help search or airlift a victim with serious injuries.
